ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Admiring Carel Fabritius' GOLDFINCH, I painted a series of Birds in the style of the old 17th century Dutch Masters. I used Old Holland oil paint on cotton duck canvas. Dodo's are extinct. They lived on the Island of Mauritius, but Dutch sailors killed all of them.
