Kristin Damaschke is a German artist working in abstract painting on paper and canvas. Her work unfolds in the tension between intuition and composition – as a vibrant dialogue between color, form, and gesture. With a Master’s degree in Fine Art, Damaschke has developed a distinctive visual language that merges gestural spontaneity with atmospheric depth. Her paintings are both powerful and restrained – offering open spaces that invite personal interpretation rather than impose meaning. At the heart of her practice lies the process itself: layering, overpainting, and intuitive interventions shape each work. Her paintings are not planned in advance – they evolve organically through time, material, and response. Kristin Damaschke’s work has been exhibited in solo and group shows in Hamburg, Schleswig-Holstein, Lübeck, Karlskrona (Sweden), Genoa, and Bologna (Italy). Her artworks are part of private collections in Germany, New York, Hong Kong, and Istanbul.
