almost spring Painting

My almost print series is about waiting for spring’s warm breezes and bright colours to come to London, where I have been living. I chose a muted palette because those colours were what I would see from the skylight in my ART studio. And the I added little, tiny bits of yellow, sometimes. Or maybe little bits of pink. Because I was telling a story about how spring was coming. You know when you are waiting and waiting, and you know it’s going to be sunny and bright, but it’s not quite yet. You are full of hope. And, these paintings are that too. Because you know spring is almost here.
