ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Il mio lavoro è quello di grafica. Faccio delle acqueforti, e amo molto il bianco e nero. Non usare il colore rende il lavoro molto meno decorativo, ma si trovano dei valori tonali e delle sfumature che vengono trascurate usando il colore. Il risultato dell'assenza di colore è, infatti, una grande ricchezza di valori tonali che rendono l'immagine più raffinata e delicata. Il disegno e in generale, creare un'immagine con l'assenza del colore, fa parte di un lessico basato sull'astrazione; la lettura dell'immagine ci è permessa dalla consuetudine con molti tipi di figurazione. Se ponessimo un' immagine in bianco e nero davanti ad un individuo che non ha mai visto una figura non potrebbe dare un senso al contenuto. Mi piacerebbe coinvolgere chi guarda nella mia grande passione per il monocromo.

My artistic carrier began in theatre worrking as a costum designer and factotum, and it was there that I relized that everything who gives pleasure and beauty revolves about art. i later combining my painting ability in the wordl of fashion designing shoes, pret-a -perter textiles.After I started teching at the Accademia di Belle Arti di Firenze and after I prefer the tecnique of engraving.Now that I have retirated i paint a great deal and sill continue engraving. My profession has gratified. I have participated in important exhibitons, i have wone prizes, and I efferate in phographic litterature for my engraving on film. The artists I most love are the Italian surrealists who were also part to metaphysical school moviment, in particular Giorgio De Chirico and Alberto Savinio. I also love very much Mach Ernst, whose collage I find prticulary beautiful
