The white queen is my symbol for all those strong survivors. Like in a chess game the queen has lots of possibility's to make her moves and take care of those she loves.In the end, she's standing in the wasteland of life. The ones she loves save behind the rock. And light is shining on her, she knows she will go on to a new horizon. I made this painting after finishing the chess serie of life. Like a destiny for the protagonist. I like working with oil paint slow drying gives me time to make gentle, subtile changes of color. The painting is framed is a simple light wooden frame, hanging hardware included
