Milena Sgambato lives and works in Milan. In 2008, she obtained her Academic Diploma in Painting from the Brera Academy of Fine Arts. From 2011 to 2024, her works have been exhibited in numerous contemporary art museums and galleries. Among these are the E23 Gallery in Naples, Art’s Events in Torrecuso (Benevento), the Costantini Art Gallery and Circoloquadro in Milan, Ufofabrik in Moena (Trento), Spazio Oberdan in Milan, Gare 82 Gallery in Brescia, the Markellos Tower in Aegina, Greece, Isorropia Homegallery in Milan, Bianchi Zardin Contemporary Art in Milan, Centometriquadri Arte Contemporanea in Santa Maria Capua Vetere (Caserta), and San Sebastiano Contemporary / Casa Bramante in Syracuse. In 2024, her works were also exhibited at the Irpinia Museum in Avellino. In 2023, she exhibited at the Videoinsight Foundation in Turin, while in 2022 at the Civic Museum of Ursino Castle in Catania, and in 2021 at the Contemporary Art Museum of Caserta. In 2019, Milena created a public work for the Municipality of Milan, and her works were exhibited at the Luigi Varoli Museum in Cotignola (Ravenna). Since 2018, one of her works has been on permanent display at the Contemporary Art Museum of the University of Campania “Luigi Vanvitelli”. In 2013, her works were exhibited at the “Arcos” Contemporary Art Museum in Benevento. Additionally, in 2011, Milena Sgambato was one of the artists of the 54th Venice Biennale, representing the Campania Region for the Italian Pavilion. Website
