I don't know how my story began but surely having a poor memory pointed me towards what Iwas best at, that is to say: drawing...... Ideas, dreams, projects....Everything that surrounded me didn't help me in looking for "may way" but pushed me "on the wy" I tried to change but nothing I thought transpired from the drip cartoons I was doing! A thoughtful after moon took me downtown Bologna and while sitting next to a large shop window, I noticed a large book. Instinct led me inside the bookshop and I began to carefully leaf trough that beautiful publication: it told of romanticism in painting, Images of paintings by Blake, Constable, and Turner floated my attention among my thoughts. The days that followed were very creative: feeling and passion were germinating and my imagination flowed into a swirling and immediate creation. I began to gather my ideas, by exploiting my spontaneity and managing to transfer everything onto the canvas. In 1996, I was invited to the Bologna Trade Fair to perform some exhibitions. Some of my paintings were bought and crossed the border towards France and England. In 2003, during one of my exhibitions in Bologna, I met an artist from the Emirates. My works caught hi attention and I was invited lo lunch with their delegation and then was by the Emir to an international Exhibition in their country, all at their expense. in 2004, when the exhibition became a concrete fact, the Gulf War, an endless series to attacks and some catastrophes stopped me. Romance was no longer enough, and it was necessary to add that little bit of luck that has always shown me only my back. so catch the luck and convince her to entertain my fantasies to stat plying with the paintbrush to fill the canvases. Time passes and inexorably collects everything, but begins to release fragments of the night, where huddled dreams awake to let themselves be watched. Now that I'm grown up and retired (2020) I've taken possession of my feeling, spontaneity and instinct to free imagination and create passion. I think I can still define myself as a romantic painter, who knows I could be wrong, but it doesn't matters is believing in it until te end. Believing in it until the end together with an unexpected fellow companion: Mister Parkinson! Always close to me, always determined to take something away from me, an infinite challenge.
