Esteban Ramon Darias Rivero (1971) Born in Placetas municipality of Villa Clara, Cuba. As a child he ventures into the plastic arts with an artistic development of drawing. Afterwards, he will work with watercolors, temperas and oils to finally prefer acrylic. A self-taught performance that draws on the study of works of other international and Cuban artists, with the main influence of impressionism. He feels great admiration for artists who definitely influence his work: Michelangelo, Davincci, El Greco, Rubens, Rembrandt, Monet, van Gogh and Dali. As well as Cuban artists: Servando Cabrera, René Portocarrero and more contemporary artists such as Arturo Montoto, Tomás Sánchez and Fabelo. He graduated as an Architect in 1998 from the Central University "Martha Abreus" of La Villas. This training brings aesthetic knowledge, design and perspective to his work. In 2000 he began his professional artistic career in the Cultural Assets Fund in Cienfuegos. Then it expands its market to Trinidad and Varadero. His work has portraits, faces of mulattoes, people of the black race and guajiros, figures of animals such as horses and roosters, Cuban rural and urban landscapes. In 2007 he develops the Nature Viva series with excellent criticism and acceptance in the market. His works are part of private collections in dozens of countries, including the United States, Canada, Russia, Germany, Spain, the United Kingdom, Japan, Mexico, Argentina and Brazil. He has participated in private and collective exhibitions. He is part of the Cienfuegos "La Résistance" group, made up of architects dedicated to plastic arts, with urban murals in the City of Cienfuegos and several exhibitions. He has worked in restoration projects where he highlights the Theater "Tomas Terry" (2007) Cultural Heritage. Since 2012 he lives in Miami and has developed works related to graphic design where art and digital technology are mixed.
