Open cages XII is part of the collection “Open world”. I am inspired by the verse “Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth…” Revolution 21:1. Hope and freedom is the main theme of the collection. Starting this painting I "enveloped" the canvas with strings, then I started spray painting and painting. The second step was to cut the strings, some are left on the painting. The "cages" are open and birds are flyiing into freedom. The artwork has lots of layers, mainly spray painted, there is so much to discover. It is inspired by street art, you find "open cages" sprayed and handwritten on the artwork. A new heaven stands for new beginning in our life. Purzle combines the stabilste of the blue color and the energy of the red. Combined with gold it symbolizes mystery, magic and power. Painted on high quality canvas, edges are painted, so framing is not necessary. Size: 80cm/31 in H x 119cm/47 in Wx 4cm/1,56 in D. Signed on the front. Certificate of authenticity.
