acrylic, tempera, oil on canvas. 30 x 36 cm This painting is: painted on two canvases size of 30 x18 cm stretched on a wooden frame, signed on the backside. the sides are painted. hanging: thin but recognizable distance (about 0,5 cm) between two canvases would be fine I have been working on multi-part images for several years. Connection and separation in a picture were the subject of my consideration. I have created an inseparable image from several canvases. This time, I painted on two canvases of the same sizes. This underlines that both parts (world) are equivalent. The boundary lines intersect in the middle of the composition, which emphasize the separation of the two canvases. I also painted the background of two canvases in different colours. It was a challenge for me to harmonize the two parts and to keep this painting as one picture. I wish the mind of a viewer to step into my picture and move freely between the colours or follow the lines. I hope that you will enjoy crossing the borders between two parallel worlds.
