ABOUT THE ARTWORK
A small band of wolves returned to northern Colorado in 2020 on their own and were tracked from Colorado back into Wyoming by a hunter and who killed them. A few months later in 2021, grey wolves were formally reintroduced to Colorado by a voter referendum, although the actual location of their reintroduction is still being researched and debated today. All my artwork work is gallery wrapped and ready to hang.

I was born in the city of Port of Spain in the southernmost Caribbean island nation of Trinidad and Tobago in the West Indies, and grew up in the Caribbean, Mediterranean, Middle Eastern and European regions. I have citizenship from the United States and Trinidad and Tobago. I am of Lebanese and Celtic descent. As an artist my intent is for my audience to have experiences that are similar to how I perceive the world, intuitively rather than through word and thought. I make work that tends to include the interwoven threads of trauma, beauty, and magic. Currently my mountain studio is near the Indian Peaks Wilderness west of Denver, Colorado.
