A vapour trail appears silently in a pristine , clear blue sky. The line drawn fades almost as fast as the the plane leaves it. One's thoughts about this trail are almost as fleeting. Yet haunting, The war machine that has caused this delicate ephemeral line 7 miles away, has the potential for major destruction yet we can barely see it certainly not hear it and ironically it is a beautiful object to observe. How many souls on board and where are they going? This painting reflects upon that one instance where art makes us aware of both sides of an equation simultaneously, the beautiful and the ugly the raw power of potential destruction and the delicate lines that feather away in a heartbeat
