About The Artwork
Around the painting surface(masonite) that was placed horizontally by energetic gestural brush strokes with a long handle I materialize internal motions and rhythms. Through drawing I realize the new and unknown forms which are coming from my inner being. I call my works both paintings and drawings because first I apply the color that I choose intuitively and use it as "aura" or "sign" of the final event which I achieve by gesture-drawing in black. In this case color gives the atmosphere, and the drawing is dominant as artistic process and as a black mark.
