About The Artwork

"woodbathing 7" was created on a 60x60 cm canvas (300 g/sqm cotton) using a mixed media of watercolor and acrylic paints, pencils, graphite and colored pencils. A tree disc with it's annual rings represents a natural mandala, which is the symbolic representation of the universe. Here 2 complementary colors meet, this combination is also often found in nature (roses, watermelons, chili peppers,...). Psychologically we associate green with life, nature, contentment, happiness and hope. Green stands for harmony and balance, has a calming and natural effect. Green relaxes, allows you to gather strength and brings regeneration, stands for harmony and rejuvenation. The positive healing effect of the color green for body, mind and soul was already recognized by Hildegard von Bingen. Red, the color of lovers and fighters. Red stands for vitality and strength and energizes body, mind and soul. At the same time, red has a warming effect and offers a feeling of security, trust, love of life, vitality and courage. Each work of art by the artist is unique.
