Art Description

Photography: Black & White on Paper.

Pigment Print

The individual desire is sacrificed to obtain the public virtue, our reality and every-day life is dominated for the sake of the common good. The human pleasure is sacrificed for social productivity, and the desire at the present is given up for the vague stability of future. We are even required to abandon the longing for freedom, for economic growth and development of civilization. The ethics based on the moral virtue and economic utility does not admit any other desire, particularly the desire of the minority. It just enforce the submission to the order of the rule in the name of morale and use.
Like a sacrificial offering, the animals in the photos represent the humans who sacrifice themselves in sake of civilization. Although the figures and landscapes I see would be no more different from those others see, I will expose the depth of their lives, by boosting myself into the supernatural state through communication and interaction with them.
