I grew up in the canton of Aargau (Switzerland) and studied media sciences at the University of Bern. I was already interested in photography as a teenager and rediscovered this passion in 2016. Since then, I have developed my own style through self-study and continuous photography in everyday life and while traveling. I have been living in the west of Bern for 30 years. I am fascinated by unusual perspectives, color contrasts, and graphic compositions. I like all types and categories of photography, but I have a particular fondness for street and landscape photography. I am also a big fan of minimalist—often abstract—images. Many of my pictures are taken in everyday life or during leisure activities. “My goal is to take pictures that stand out. This often involves special lighting conditions and a surprising perspective. I photograph what I like, what catches my eye, what irritates me, what interests me."
