After publishing in National Geographic magazine in Your Shot coloumn in June 2008 i realised that this was a beautiful way of expressing the beauty of wetlands.The image is suppose to disconnect the viewer from definitons giving a chance to appreciate forms.The image gives the opportunity of play in the mind with forms.

I am a Physicist by training with keen interest in Photography and Metaphysics. I have been teaching at the University level for over thirty years in Indore, Madhya Pradesh, India. My work entails the area of Non Linear Optics for which I received my PhD in 1998. With my photography I have been able to raise the cause of conservation of dying wetlands. Homes of birds and reflections of heavens. These beautiful locales give the opportunity to capture those frames which exist very briefly during the intimate play of light.
