Christoph Lingg is an Austrian Photographer, who was born and raised in a small mountain valley in the Alps. Since the completion of his studies at the International Center of Photography in New York City, he has worked as a freelance photographer, concentrating on social political and social cultural projects. Up to now, he has published ten books and had numerous solo exhibitions in Austria and other countries, among them the prestigious Leopold Museum and the Hofmobilien Depot in Vienna, the Museum Hofburg in Innsbruck, the Accademia di Romania in Rome, the Museo das Peregrinacións in Santiago de Compostela, the Jewish Museum in Bratislava and took part in group exhibitions at the UN-Headquarter in New York as well as the Museum of Modern Art in Shanghai and the Admont Abbey.
