Claudia Melters lives and works in Germany. She studied Germanistik, Anglistik and History of Art in Aachen and Koeln.
PAINTINGS
In her paintings, her main interest is to combine acrylic colours with other materials and text fragments. Something new develops and in this new context, the text could get a surprising new sense. To express her joie de vivre, the artist mostly uses vivid colours.
PHOTOGRAPHY
Some of her photographies also look like paintings. Especially the series 'wipe-hype' shows subjects that are not recognizable at first glance and intentionally blurred. By pulling the camera very fast one motive is melting with another. Enjoy the play of fantasy.
