120 film processed and converted to digital by manually scanning with same lens used to capture the photo. Printed on Archival Fine Art Paper. Framed with 3/4 inch white wood & covered with acrylic glazing with UV protection. Comes with Hanging hardware. Adrián Cabrero is a lifelong creative with photography serving as his primary artistic medium for over 17 years. His photography style is a mix of photojournalism and editorial, capturing images as a statement of truth with a hint of allure. For the first 15 years he photographed solely on digital and his main subjects were strangers he met on the street in New York City and Los Angeles, often as candids or organic spontaneous portraits. During the 2020 pandemic he abandoned digital photography entirely, without regret, and made a dramatic shift to medium format film. The limitations of the medium slowed down his process from capture to print, ultimately forcing him to bring more intention to each frame captured. He scans every frame individually by hand using the same lens that was used to capture the original image, essentially creating a unique portrait of a film image. Adrián currently lives and makes his art in Santa Monica.
