Since many years I take pictures on festivals or funfair grounds all around in Germany, From the famous bavarian OKTOBERFEST to the Hamburger DOOM or the Volksfest in Stuttgart the KRANGES Kirmes. It has such a tradition in Germany, maybe all around the world. So whereever I am traveling I am looking for those typical places. I like the colors, the paitings, just everything. Especially I do love the calm and quiete atmosphere before the big noise starts and all the people are so hungry for action and entertainment. I certainly made a hundreds of photographies on this locations, from the small candy shop, to scary ghosts riding, from autoscooter to break dance fun. I take these pictures with my LINHOF 4x5 Master Technika and my favorite panorama camera, the LINHOF Technorama 616. I use KODAK negatives with PORTRA 160. This image was taken with my old double lens 80mm 2,8 ROLLEI 6x6 camera. This will be a limited edition of 22, signed with certificate.
