About The Artwork

Inspired by various abstract contemporary photography. Deliberately dtakenusing a 360 degree camera with two lenses, producing an unusual remarkable distorted effect. Attempt to escape from the normal illustrative photographic work into something more unusual Hence the use of the 360 degree camera in natural setting, where even daisies are distorted.

I trained as an architect but became disillusioned with it eventually after working in the 'real world' in offices and on site. I've always been good at art and illustration ; the only thing people have remarked upon. So I thought I ought to concentrate more on that. Architecture was interesting but it wasn't really my forte. I wrote a couple of books, but they weren't about art either. The people who have really influenced me have been Tom Keating and Robert Taylor, who was really an illustrator. I like Rolf Harris's work, even though the law made mincemeat of him. I am a Christian, so I tend to steer clear of anything with an evil undercurrent.
