ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This work was born from my desire to explore textures. Something that I've had an affinity for all of my life, but since I'm work in digital mediums, I wanted to convey the texture of these black pearls through heavy contrast. I hope all the viewer can focus on is the texture on the models face, not the model herself. I wanted the pearls to look so appealing that you wish to touch them, or you can almost get a sense of what they feel like.
