Playfulness, abstraction, and multiple interpretations are factors involved in the series of photographs Orbeez, by visual artist Renato Gosling. From gel balls that grow when in contact with water, images were made that stimulate perceptions. The production of the works, whose name evokes the name of the toy, recovers childhood memories and the pleasure of touching and seeing the little gel balls growing in the water. Through photography, the potential to capture optical effects and to provide diverse impressions to the public, who are won over by the intensity of the colors, are developed.
