I love the feeling of freshness, the colours exactly mimic those on a crystal clear early morning walking on the beach promenade, warning of a hot day to come. This print has a beautiful rustic finish of layers of wood veneer reflecting the beach groynes and driftwood. - Blue Sea View 50x75 cm The picture is exposed on premium Fujicolor paper with true Durst Lambda laser exposure system. The print is then developed in a traditional photochemical process. The photo paper has an exceptionally large colour spectrum and is finished with a UV-protective film that keeps your image pristine for several decades, meaning the brilliant colours will last for 75 years or more. The natural-look plywood is 18mm thick and the wood grain on the edges can clearly be seen. They originate from photographs and through a unique corruption process form colours and structures which when combined with digital and mixed media techniques simplify - by stripping away the excess layers of reality - and exaggerate - by revealing the underlying aura of colour. I strive to ground the voyeur and imbue in them a calm sense of place.
