I have been wanting to make these half print and half watercolor artwork for some time. This is the third batch that I have done They are lighter in feel and look. May be the viewer will say: "Hey this is new, wonder what he did here" Mounting artwork, working with watercolors and with wet brushes are really really fun things for me to do This piece of artwork is one in a series of 36 artwork. I applied watercolour in a loose manner over the printed image. I used the printed image as a background for my water-colour paints. These inkjet printed B/W images are printed on Japanese rice paper, they are wet mounted to preserved the freshness of the colour of the water-colour paints. I hope the viewers will not see that the image has been stretch digitally. All Chinese water color artworks are wet mounted, so I'll use wet mounting method on a ink jet print so as to keep the freshness of the artwork. It is as if the piece was just finished 5 minutes ago.
