ABOUT THE ARTWORK

All women were silenced, many women are still silent. This piece was inspired by Edvard Munch's "The Scream". It shows a woman with no mouth looking into the sky helplessly. It represents the danger of remaining silent so that we can protect those who cause us harm. I have never experienced any kind of violence, but know a few people that have. They rarely talk about it. People usually tease them for not saying or doing anything to prevent this. They don't understand that it is not that easy, it is usually completely different when you find yourself in such a situation. I hope that viewers will feel the helplessness of all these victims when they see this photo.
