Broken Disco Ball Photograph - Limited Edition of 15

My work is inspired by a subject that I'm studying, such collaborative effort takes place during any creative work and especially in photography. I asked to pose my female model to empower her self image and her self expression. The fashion plays an important role in the image making as well, it often dictates mood and attitude. The model is wearing Dries Van Noten scarf, one of my favorite designers. However, the work is not final at that point in time- the art piece only becomes "alive" when it finds a viewer interpreting what he/she/they is seeing; it evokes emotions and feelings, provokes questions or ideas. Thus the artwork is fixed, yet its not static, it's ever changing, its lives only through the eyes of the beholder. Stylist: Karolina Frechowicz Model: Aleka Ward
