ABOUT THE ARTWORK

"Brothel's Row" Cast iron buildings on Greene Street reflected in the window of Paul Smith Men's Boutique. Greene Street was considered the red light district in the late 1800's with 14 brothels and a high concentration of business and sexual activity. From Day Trippin In SoHo: Art Meets Fashion Meets Architecture (2010 - 2020), a surreal fashion and architectural photography essay that documents the urban landscape through the modern evolution of the designer, "High Fashion" storefront windows in New York’s trendy SoHo. It looks at how fashion, art and technology came together when the high fashion brands moved into the area also known as the historic "Cast Iron District" which has the largest concentration of cast iron buildings in the world.
