About The Artwork
The fifth in my carwash series of six, this one is also very meditative, calming and beautiful. I love how the colors blend together, yet it is mysterious. Please look at the other five photographs to see the change in movement and color. This all happened in less than a few minutes, it was an old and decrepit carwash in Oakland, just water and leathers and brushes cleaning. In front of my eyes, an automated carwash painted magical images onto my windshield, only to be captured with a camera, gone forever otherwise. I literally forgot to breathe, as I pulled out my iPhone to shoot this series. I wish for the viewer to get lost in thought, to be inspired to dream or meditate whilst looking at this photograph. It has a beautifully calming quality, so needed in todays fast-paced world. Art can provide a calming effect in one's home as can music. Archival photo print face mounted.
