Studying art and zoology at the University of Michigan while harassing my friends in both fields about baseball and football endlessly, although there really are not that many baseball/football fans in either art or zoology. Sad, that.------------

I'm really annoyed that this profile won't let me use paragraph line breaks where I want them, so I'm subjecting you to these dash-marks.------------

I'm not a photographer, or a sportswriter, but I dabble absurdly in both. I have a good camera but no tripod, and no understanding of 95% of its features. I take photos anyways. At heart and in hand, I'm an illustrator.------------

Grew up in Massachusetts, currently in Michigan, I was raised on Detroit sports thanks to my dad, which must qualify as some sort of child abuse. I'm a Red Sox fan despite his efforts. I'm a Tigers fan and a Lions fan because of them. I'm a Wolverines fan because, well, naturally.------------

I'm not a great birder, but I know a lot of genius birders. ------------

Baseball players should wear their socks up because it looks better that way.------------

Scientific illustration and photography are what I do, but no art is worth doing unless you can laugh at it.
