Casting the Net - Limited Edition of 50 Photograph

I took this shot early one morning as I stood, a little precariously, against a wooden pillar on U Bein bridge over Taung Tha Man Lake. The sun was just beginning to put in an appearance and was casting a beautiful soft golden glow over the calm water. It was that tranquil hour before the world gets going, so there were few people around.....but my focus was on this lone fisherman, as he time and again prepared his net and threw it masterfully into the air, where it opened out and floated down into the water. It was fascinating to watch and I was pleased to have captured the net mid-flight.....along with its reflection in the water below. The image is printed on Pinnacle Cotton Rag 310gsm paper (which is both acid-free and archival), using pigment-based inks, and including a half-inch white border. It is signed and numbered, and comes with a Certificate of Authenticity. It is despatched in a tube. Please allow up to two weeks for the preparation process before dispatch.
