Sven Lorenz discussed in this photographic series unconscious behaviors. Behavior that always refer to an original action, so follow the cause / effect principle. Through these gestures are expressed and enshrined in the behavioral psychology. The large-format portraits of people show the protruding tongue as a subconscious reaction to a conflict. The photos show a layering of two different portraits. First portrait without a reaction - with closed mouth - and secondly, the portrait of the reaction, the accor stretch tongue. The works allow the viewer to guess at the causes and clarify in connection with the subject a proper understanding of the reaction shown. Certificate + signature label. I search for the unreal, the surreal in reality - hence photography as a form of expression of supposed objective reality. "The surprising can be found in the everyday of urban space, in the artificial landscape of cities and industrial landscapes that we ourselves have created. I am fascinated by filigree, undiscovered structures and forms that form a poetic interplay with the ordinary, a paradoxical contrast, a borderland". In order to depict this, to make it visible, not only the point of view becomes the protagonist, but also a special kind of development as well as the digital influence on the actual photography without, however, changing it in its essence and its originality. Border spaces between reality and reality.
