About The Artwork

Rome’s Non-Catholic Cemetery for Foreigners is a very special holy space. Over 300 years old, it is a beautiful, intimate location famous for its many notable ex-pats, artists and authors, including Shelley and Keats who are buried next to each other. In this photo, the bright white marble cross braced against the contrasting red stucco wall practically composed itself. A closer look revealed the kind of personal history that I loved discovering: a Jewish star near the birth date and a Christian cross at death. Limited Editions are signed and numbered by the artist. All photos are printed on high-quality, acid-free photo premium paper Also available 24 W x 16 H: $290, including shipping & handling.

I am a visual artist and I am passionate about capturing and documenting experiences. As a photographer and painter, I use art to convey emotion, to tell a story about what I find compelling and as a means to bring color and beauty for others to savor. My work reflects my enthusiasm and curiosity for unique and diverse subjects and my deep appreciation for details and texture, color and character. I am particularly drawn to the natural beauty and grandeur of landscapes, the quiet intimacy of hallowed spaces, the candor of urban life, and the endless texture, lines and radiance present in nature. Illustrating my life experiences through photographs and paintings permits me to convey a sense of meaning and substance that resonates deeply for me. My body of work in both mediums is expanding in context and perspective as I continue to explore and express my artistic voice and individuality.
