Omar Torres is an experienced photographer who has worked as a photojournalist in newspapers, magazines, local and international news agencies. Since 1985, he was the head of photography for Agence France Presse at its bureau in Mexico. During his career as a photojournalist, He covered international events such as the Falkland War in 1982, between Argentina and England. Different social and political conflicts in North, Central and South America. He has have participated in countless international sports events. His work have been published by the most important newspapers and magazines such as Paris Match, The New York times, Los Angeles Times, Der Spiegel, Chicago Tribune as well as in books on photographic techniques, composition and photojournalism. He currently teach workshops on photojournalism and photo editing related to photojournalism.
