“Colony of Slippermen” - Santorini, Greek Islands - Limited Edition of 175 Photograph

This photograph was taken August 2019 during a journey to Santorini (Greek Islands). Specifically this beach is called the “red sand” beach but more formally known as Akrotiri Beach. The red rock backdrop is majestic and defines well against the contrast of the Aegean Sea. The sand is composed of black and red pulverized volcanic rock - very dramatic and majestic. I hope that my audience feels a sense of calm and serenity and beauty when they view this piece.
