Corridors of Insomnia - Limited Edition of 8 Photograph

A night in the outskirts of The Hague (the city where Dutch government is residing). This is an actual appartment building. The dark outside wall is opened by scattered windows of different sizes. Behind this wall you can see illuminated corridors where people walk to access their appartments. I particularly loved the silhouette play between the foreground windows and the coloured doors behind. Because of the strong contrast it almost looks like a collage. I only changed the rectangular layout of the original building to a square, so the composition is more concentrated and the scale became just the way I wanted. This is a limited edition pigment print on Ilford Pearl photographic paper. It is shipped in a tube and needs to be framed by the client. It is handsigned and comes with a certificate of authenticity. Please note: the Image size is 45 x 45 cm / paper size is 59,4 x 61 cm (23.4 x 24 inches).
