ABOUT THE ARTWORK
I took this photo on Fuerteventura island. This is my favorite style of photos: the human body with a nature - whole universum. I used my favorite analog large format camera, the Graflex Speed Graphic 4x5'. Like all my photos, I developed the negative in my home darkroom and then made the silver contact print, toned with sellenium toner. This photo is framed with a acid-free black passe-partout WhiteCore(TM), 1,4 mm

Iwona Aleksandrowicz, born in 1971. She was a sworn translator and advertising manager in a large company, but in 2010 she completely lost herself in portrait and nude photography. Since 2013, she has been photographing only in traditional technique with medium- and large-format cameras. Self-taught both in operating traditional cameras as well as in developing films and printings in a traditional darkroom. In 2014, she became interested in the technique of instant film, commonly known as polaroid. A member of the international photographic society "Echiquier" based in France.
