ABOUT THE ARTWORK

This series of portraits is based on the notion of family, uniting the two worlds of each fighter, their role as a star in the ring brought to their home, where they are loving parents, providers, people who protect others. Some portraits were made at the very precise moment before going out to the ring to fight, in an arena that only works on weekends, in one of the few spaces where this sport / entertainment is still preserved in Guatemala City
