Brian B. Decker was born March 9, 1969 in Los Angeles, California and continues to live and work there. He studied cinema at Los Angeles City College and the San Francisco Art Institute, where he earned his BFA degree in 1994. Decker's artwork revolves mostly around film, video and still photography, and often involves projection. The work has taken many forms including, but not limited to cinematography, VJ, site-specific installations, ambient video and printed photography.
