'Dancing Heleniums' A1 Limited Edition Fine Art Print Photograph

Scanographic photography freezes nature in time, giving the viewer an opportunity to experience the finest details up close in high resolution. Heleniums have fiery daisy-like flowers that add warmth to the garden in late summer, they grow into large bushes, filling the garden borders with a mass of vibrant orange petals that dance together in the wind. The flatbed scanner has a very shallow depth of field which allows me to play with layers that quickly blur into the distance, creating a sense of movement while keeping the finest details extremely sharp. If you look closely you will see the most amazing electric patterns on the petals and flower buds. I then use Adobe Photoshop to edit the final image, many hours go into cleaning up the loose particles of dust and pollen, enhancing the sharpest details and grading it to draw you in. Every time I look at this image I see something new, just like when I’m exploring the garden, I hope you will too. This is a limited edition print of 30 mixed sizes, no more than 30 total will ever be printed. Choose a size that suits your space best.
