Dancing Imp 1e9 Photograph - Limited Edition of 3

Dancing Imp 1e9 is an abstraction of a tiny part of another image (59th Street Bridge 1m10b) which has been enlarged over 100 times, and altered by various iterations of contrast, color and saturation changes. The resulting Dancing Imp series has multiple versions, limited to 3 prints for each version. In this version (1e9), I have darkened the background and increased contrast markedly so the Imp stands out totally apart from the background, giving a 3 dimensionality to the image. Frankly, he reminds me of Zorba, the Greek, from the film of the same name. This is a very friendly and fun loving imp, and I imagine that you’d have a very good time if you encounter him.
