ABOUT THE ARTWORK

This is an abstract piece of photography I did to visually create what it means to have rainy days, because after the rain comes sunshine. Using acrylic to create a Nostalgic feeling to presence of light while feeling the piece by hand. The presence of light is symbolic to the light at the end of a tunnel. the works exist in a collection of 12 unique prints

He harnesses his creativity and skills in various forms of ART in order to pursue his artistic journey, He uses the ballpoint pen and ink specifically because they are tools from ancient times used in telling stories and writings and truthfully. In his practice as an artist over the years, He believes art is a means of expression and loves to not just draw but also paint in different styles and techniques, Agbaka loves to explore abstracts he says “I don’t want to be confined into one practice or style of art as this makes me feel as though I’m a prisoner, I believe art has set me free hence I create even more expressively exploring different styles and techniques of art” His ideas are revealed to him intuitively and tries to focus on society, class, politics and people generally. •He’s inspired by past and present artist and because of his similar artistic journey, was nicknamed “Picasso” he is to a large extent inspired by Pablo Picasso, Caravaggio, Michelle Angelo, leornado da vinci, Jean michel basquiat.
