Cristina Migliorini-Busato was born in Italy and started travelling from her youth. She has lived in France, Argentina, Portugal, and currently resides in the south of Spain. Her artistic journey has been enriched through diverse learning experiences. In Nice, she works in a sculpture studio. In Cadaqués, Dalí's town, she opens her first studio-gallery. In Buenos Aires, she takes illustration courses with Mónica Weiss, refining her mastery of this technique with Jaume Cluet in Barcelona, where she also explores black-style etching at Maria Pujol's workshop. In Madrid, she enrolls in the School of Photography, studying black-and-white analog photography. In 2015, she becomes an artist-in-residence at 59 Rivoli in Paris, the so-called "Maison des Artistes" or "Chez Robert, Électrons Libres", once a squat and artist hub, now a renowned contemporary art establishment offering a platform for experimentation and creative expression, drawing global visitors to its vibrant art scene. The following year she is in Barcelona, at Nauart Espai de Creació, an art space located in the creative neighborhood of Poblenou. During her stay in Barcelona she participates in humanitarian initiatives in favour of migrants, supported by the Barcelona City Council and NGOs like Doctors of the World, turning to art therapy, a new path that led her to specialized training as an art therapist for young migrants at Casa Árabe, Madrid, the following year. This commitment to the most vulnerable reflects her profound belief in the social mission of art and in creativity's role as a tool for change and human connection. Today, she continues to blend her cultural and artistic experiences to create works that transcend borders. Her life and work embody a continuous journey—both geographical and spiritual—where art becomes a universal language of transformation and change.
