Diversity Photograph - Limited Edition of 250

The Petrified Forest in Arizona is a national park located in the northeastern part of the state, near the city of Holbrook. It encompasses over 200 square miles of land and features an array of geological wonders, including the world’s largest concentration of petrified wood. Captured here is the strange and wonderful landscape of this area with some of the shapes reminiscent of a sleeping, large beast. My photography is very unique. I only shoot large format using a computerized robotic mount that takes the image in a series of tiles that are later joined together to create a super high resolution panorama. The resulting image can be printed at extremely large sizes whilst still maintaining ultimate clarity and detail. This method also allows the image to be distortion free as only the best part of the captured image are used in the final joining resulting in a flawless image. Many people have said that my images are so detailed and vibrant that it is like looking out of a window. This is especially true of a large format print like this that completely immerses you in the scene. Additionally, I print on a fine art metallic paper which greatly enhances the look, giving the piece a shimmer that greatly enhances the colors and depth.
