Doing Cartwheels 1f2f is an abstraction of a kaleidoscopic image. There two main but separate intentions in this work - first to create an image that is like a clockworks, with a connected set of wheels (gears) spinning all together - and then to create a work that looks like the cross section of a array of bamboo cross-sectional slices pieced together to form a flat plane (as is done by various craft artists to form such things as table-tops, serving trays, trivets, and drink coasters). The main image (1a) is in black and white, interested only in the form but there are a few variations with coloring added, sometimes with the colors forming their own array superimposed over the black and white one. In this version (1f2f), I have tinted the background in green and purple. I am offering this version in 2 ADDITIONAL SIZES -- 40” H x 30” W at 3000. AND 30” H x 22.5” W at $1500. - If you want either of these sizes, use the "Make an Offer" option (in the box below the price listing) at $3000. (for 40” x 30” size) or $1500. (for 30” x 22.5” size) which I will accept.
