Conrad Hunziker III is a self-taught imager working in a variety of photographic mediums since he was 15 years old. Starting as a feature news photojournalist, he quickly picked up the photographic techniques and learned how to break the rules for art. He eventually added the 3rd dimension of motion to his photography, culminating in scripted and documentary motion picture work. Based in Los Angeles, CA, his cinematography has taken him around the world, working on documentaries for the likes of National Geographic to narrative feature films for companies in the US and abroad. With a variety of unique imaging cameras always at his side, he is ready to capture his unique view on the world. Currently, in between working as a cinematographer for various TV and Feature Film projects, he fills his time venturing into the wild as a landscape photographer. He frequently will take off to various natural areas and spend up to a week at a time in a location, taking pictures to highlight various aspects of whats before him. He works both digitally and with old-school large format photochemical processes, leveraging the best aspects of a particular format for what his creative ideas inspire. He always strives to tell stories with his images, taking the viewer along on a journey. His images have routinely been in several juried expositions in various galleries across the country.
