Silver halide C-print photograph face-mounted to acrylic. END OF THE FOREST Hokkaido, Japan 2020 END OF THE FOREST is part of Scott Reither’s portfolio titled STILLNESS SPEAKS. The photographs in this series are soft in color, peaceful in nature, and meant to be meditative works. These evocative photographs showcase dynamically in both home and corporate spaces. 36”x36” Limited Edition of 45+5 Artist Proofs (regardless of size). Signed and numbered Certificate of Authenticity is attached to the back of the piece. The print is a Silver Halide C-Print. This fine art chromogenic photographic print method, combined with large format capture, offers the most exacting clarity and lushest results. The archival print quality is of the highest standard and is consistent with collectable fine art prints found in the finest museum collections. The artist has teamed with the top fine art finishers in the country to custom face-mount and finish the silver print. They are known for their impeccable quality and craftsmanship and are the only U.S. based studio licensed to use the proprietary Diasec® process. Chemically inert and stable, the silver print is airtight and protected from damaging UV light and humidity, and is resistant to environmental pollutants. Many major art museums will only accept Diasec® face-mounts. Here, END OF THE FOREST is available as a “Gallery Float Style” finish: face-mounted to a 1/8” TruLife® plexiglass, which has an added benefit of low reflectivity and scratch resistance. It is then backed with a 3/16” black plexi, the edges are hand-polished for a smooth crystalline look, and the piece is finished with a metal inset frame attached to the back. The resulting piece floats about an inch off the wall and appears frameless, for an elegant, tailored finish. This piece is made-to-order. The turnaround time is approximately 4 weeks from the time you order, until the time you receive tracking information for the shipped artwork. Hanging instructions and hardware is included for your convenience.
