ABOUT THE ARTWORK
I try to take pictures of cars that are only sort of about the car itself. For this one I was looking for form and shadows using a 4x5 view camera for really precise framing. A nice drum scan from that big fat negative, printed here on Legacy Platine paper. A very fine paper that emulates a traditional darkroom print that I use when I want to preserve rather than depart from a photographic reality image size 141/4" x19" printed on 17" x 22" paper This image is included in my self-published book "Small Pieces of Los Angeles briefly Illuminated". This photo is not framed
