"Electric Wave(length)" is a piece from a series called "Technicolor". This is a series of scanned, photochemical prints that I create by painting on photographic, light sensitive paper in a darkroom. I'm interested in blurring the boundaries between painting and photography by way of surface manipulation. The elusive nature of these artworks allows me to play upon the limitations and paradoxes that occur in the process and presentation of the work. This piece was featured at the Mills College Art Museum for my MFA thesis exhibition.
